A: The app uses the Job Seeker profile details—such as skills, experience, and preferences—to recommend jobs.
Q: Can I apply to jobs directly through the app?
A: No. You’ll be directed to the employer’s site or provided link.
Q: Are the job listings updated in real time?
A: No. They’re refreshed periodically by Admins.
Q: How do I search for jobs manually?
A: Use the Search tab to browse or filter by role, location, and industry.
Q: Can I save or bookmark jobs I’m interested in?
A: Yes. Tap Save on any job to keep it in your Saved Jobs list.
Q: How does the app match me with Job Helpers?
A: Matching is based on shared fields, interests, or company connections in your profile. Job Seekers can also reach out to potential Job Helpers.
Q: Where do I find Job Helpers?
A: Contact details of the Job Helpers are included in the Description section of job posting.
Q: Can I message or connect with Job Helpers?
A: Yes. You can send direct messages to Helpers or recruiters linked to companies of interest.
Q: What if a Helper doesn’t respond or behaves inappropriately?
A: You can report this in an email to ua@wpa.church
Q: Does the app offer mentorship or coaching?
A: No. Phase 1 does not include career guidance or resume feedback.
Q: Can I upload or build a resume?
A: No. Phase 1 does not include a resume builder. Future updates may add this feature.
Q: Who can view my profile?
A: Once approved, you control visibility — your profile can be public or private.
Q: Will I receive alerts for new matches?
A: Not yet. You can manually check for updates anytime.
Q: Can I track job application status?
A: No. Applications cannot be submitted nor tracked on the UA app.
Q: How do I create an account and set up my profile?
A: Sign up with your email, and complete your Job Seeker profile with skills, work history, and preferences.
Q: How long does profile approval take?
A: Usually within 24 hours once all required details are submitted.
Q: Can I edit my profile later?
A: Yes. You can update your information anytime under Profile → Edit.
Q: What information is required to start using the app?
A: Basic contact details, employment status, skills, and job preferences.
Q: Is there a guide or walkthrough?
A: Yes. A brief onboarding tutorial appears when you first log in. You can replay it from Settings.
Q: I forgot my password — what should I do?
A: Tap “Forgot Password” on the login page and follow the email instructions.
Q: How do I delete my account?
A: Go to Settings → Account → Delete Account. Once deleted, data cannot be recovered.

Q: Is my information secure?
A: Yes. UA Phase 1 uses encryption and follows data-protection guidelines.
Q: Can I hide my personal details?
A: Yes. You can choose what information is publicly visible.
